Communication Paradox

Welcome to our most interconnected era where people have instant access to people all around the globe yet feel more alone than ever. There lies the paradox.

Why do we often find ourselves lost in a sea of “friends and followers”? The most straightforward answer lies in our evolutionary development. Humanity has spent only about 10% of its’ known history in city-sized groups, the vast 90% of our time was spent in groups no larger than 200 people.

To understand the effects of such an environment, one need only examine small towns where everyone knows everyone versus cities where knowing your neighbor is a chore in it of itself.

Having now defined the problem, the solution is easier to divine. It is not to run back into tribal mentality because that would not support our reality of a vast global empire. Excluding others and hiding in our shells does not protect or provide us with a thriving society. Neither is staying simultaneously connected to numerous individuals because we lack the time to form and maintain deep, meaningful bonds with such a large group outside of a publicly shared belief.

Our best foot forward is to grow and maintain a diverse support network of family and friends with similar yet unique interests and viewpoints which will serve a healthy perspective of contemporary times. We thus balance our health between mental, physical, spiritual and social. After all, Homo Sapiens’ natural state is one of curiosity and cooperation. As healthy children who play will confirm, the joy of fun is amplified when in a group.

Aristotle said “man is by nature a social animal” some thousands of years ago. Undeniably, the rapid spread of inexpensive communication technologies brings us unprecedented connection to everything on the globe. We must use this tool wisely least we end up being the tool rather than the master.

“ Do more than communicate. Connect.

- Visit https://www.socialcall.app/socialcall for more.

In the beginning, telephones fulfilled a single promise. They granted people the ability to communicate in one of the most human way, voice. Yet it was limited by the length of the wire, the price and the telephone's stationary nature.

Mobile phones came along with the magical means of instantly connecting people in real time anywhere on the globe. Mobiles were portable and wireless then overtime became more affordable than telephones. Over 40 years, calling gave way to short message service (SMS) as cellphone's primary function.

Everything keeps getting "smarter". Now we call our phones smartphones. This new generation is powered by the internet along with a host of many other technologies that's more magical compared to the original telephone.

SocialCall is the natural evolution of AI and classic phone capabilities.

SocialCall is the answer to "I got too busy that I forgot to call". SocialCall is a non-intrusive, set-and-forget, and simple to use app.

SocialCall helps you foster social bonds because to be human is be social.

You'll be glad you called.
